Mike Thomas, Associate Administrator at Wayne County hospital and a Critical Care Paramedic. Mike has been on the Chamber for 8 years. He is currently serving his 6th year as President of the of the Corydon/Allerton Chamber of Commerce.
Amber Alley Rodgers grew up in Wayne county, and graduated from Wayne Community Schools in 2003. She went on to attend Iowa State University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business with a Marketing Major.
After college Amber worked mainly in advertising and corporate marketing for brands like Pella Corp, Iowa Economic Development Authority, and UnityPoint Health. In 2013 after the birth of their daughter Alley, Amber and her husband Devin began searching for opportunities to bring their family to the Corydon area. In 2017, Devin began work for Midwest Heritage Bank in Chariton as their Assistant Controller and the family moved to Corydon. Amber opened Prairie Clover Market – a boutique – in November of 2018 within the Shoppes of Rea Plaza. She is active in the First Baptist Church and their children’s programs, is Vice President of the Corydon-Allerton Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Corydon City Council. Amber recently joined the Wayne Theatre board and looks forward to serving there as they begin a campaign to raise funds for the building. Amber and Devin have 2 children – Alley will begin kindergarten in a few weeks and Lennox is 3. In her spare time, Amber enjoys camping, traveling and renovating their home.
Denise Hook, Chief Financial Officer at Wayne County Hospital. Denise has been active in the Chamber for a year as Treasurer. Along with the Chamber, she is Treasurer of Prairie Trails Wellness Center, and active in the Corydon Old Settlers Committee and Rotary. She is married to husband, Rick. They have five children and seven grandchildren.
Mary Goben, Co-owner of Goben Automotive LLC. Mary has been a member of the Chamber since moving to Corydon in August of 2016. Along with the Chamber, Mary teaches classes at the Prairie Trails Fitness Center and runs her 2 children Benton and Ava to and from school and sports activities. She also spends several days a week in the office other their repair shop learning the ins and outs of running a small business.
Josh Knutson, owner of Destination AG, LLC . Josh has been a member of the Corydon/Allerton Chamber since 2015. He is married to his wife Kristy and has 3 daughters Kaylee, Morgan, and Cortney.
Kay Boam, part owner of the Inn of the Six Toed Cat in Allerton, IA. Kay is a retired teacher and occasionally substitutes at Seymour School. She has been part owner of the Inn since November 2010 and has been on the Chamber since that time as well.
